Why PRSA? Maria is a San Diego native and has been involved with PRSA for more than ten years – dating back to the early 2000s when she was a member of PRSSA in Honolulu. She believes it is vital to belong to a professional development organization, to learn industry best practices and network among peers. PRSA offers all of this and more. Expanding involvement with the organization by serving on the San Diego/IC chapter’s board would allow her to give back to the local community of public relations professionals, influence camaraderie and help expand her leadership skills.
