Sarah Lemons is and On-Site Communication Specialist for Katz & Associates, a nationally-recognized communication consulting firm specializing in issues-based communication programs for public and private sector clients. In her role, Sarah supports community outreach and education efforts for the City of San Diego’s Pure Water program, which will provide one-third of San Diego’s water supply locally by 2035.
Prior to this, Sarah supported public outreach programs for various transportation, water and military projects for local, state and federal government agency clients. Before Katz & Associates, Sarah also worked with Fleishman-Hillard and the Port of Long Beach.
Sarah has been active in the PRSA SD/IC Chapter since 2011. She served on the New Pros Committee as the Events Co-Chair, on the Edward L. Bernays Awards Committee as the Communications Chair and now serves on the Board of Directors.
Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies and journalism, with a specialization in public relations, from California State University, Long Beach.
