According to new statistics, 67 million Americans listen to podcasts monthly, up 14 percent in just one year. Podcasts are on the rise in the U.S., drawing a rapt and dedicated audience – the average listener subscribes to six podcasts a week!
When it comes to public relations, are you incorporating this growing medium into your outreach? Are you tailoring your pitches to fit the type of longform content that podcast producers are looking for? This panel will bring San Diego’s top podcasters together to talk about the benefits of placing guests on podcasts, how to pitch podcasts differently than traditional media, the type of technology needed for optimum audio when doing an interview, and more.
And thinking of starting your own podcast or looking to advertise to this desirable podcast listener? Find out what it takes to get on the air.
