Agency was awarded one Communicator Award of Excellence and two Awards of Distinction
KCD PR, a San Diego-based public relations and inbound marketing firm, was recently awarded three top honors by the 2016 Communicator Awards program for its media relations and website development work. KCD PR won an award of excellence for its print media campaign on behalf of client Advisor Group, while also garnering two awards of distinction for its media relations campaign on behalf of client Pavia Systems and for its web design work in the financial services category on behalf of client WealthPLAN Partners.
“Being recognized in such a competitive environment is always an honor and certainly reinforces all of the dedicated work we perform on behalf of our clients,” said Kevin Dinino, founder and president of KCD PR. “I am extremely proud of our team for excelling in so many different disciplines and continuing to produce award-winning results.”
KCD PR’s work on behalf of Advisor Group was recognized with an Award of Excellence in the media relations category for a print publicity campaign consisting of up to three placements. KCD PR entered its work for the client’s Speak Loud initiative, a comprehensive advertising campaign designed to enhance recruiting at the firm’s four independent broker-dealers. KCD PR successfully secured multiple media placements, ranging from top-tier national business outlets, industry trades to marketing-focused pubs.
Additionally, KCD PR was recognized in the same category for media relations outreach done on behalf of Pavia Systems for the startup’s premier product, HeadLight. KCD PR was also recognized for its website design work for WealthPLAN Partners. The agency oversaw the development, messaging and branding of the site, bringing it to launch in just two months’ time.
The Communicator Awards are sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, an invitation-only group consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms. The program receives more than 6,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest and most competitive awards programs honoring creative excellence for communications professionals.
