Some will blame a contentious political environment\, the popularity of social media and the anonymity it affords\, or the ongoing degradation of decency and compassionate thinking.   \nAs public relations professionals\, we should always champion the idea that effective communications is based on civility\, compassion\, and respect for all.  \nIn honor of National Ethics Month\, our chapter is focusing on the the importance of civility and how we can hone our skills to become stronger\, more sensitive and more powerful communicators.
