Annual give-back event to support Charitable Organizations in the San Diego Region

The San Diego/Imperial County Chapter of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is hosting our annual outreach event to help San Diego and Imperial County nonprofits reach their PR/Communication goals. This year’s Quality Time with PR Minds event pairs PR professionals with local nonprofits for an evening of sharing PR best practices, learning about nonprofit challenges and coming up with tactics that can help these nonprofits succeed. PRSA Members of all levels of experience and backgrounds are welcome.

The event is at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at ignite sparked by BBB co-working/event space. The event opens with registration and networking at 4:15 p.m. and the program starts at 5 p.m.

The program will include:

– Dinner and beverages for all guests

– Media and Public Relations Panel Discussion followed by a short Q&A session

– 60 minutes for PR and nonprofit professionals to team up for a PR/Communication consultation

At the conclusion of the event, we encourage participants to exchange contact information and be open to fielding possible follow-up questions from the nonprofits.

Year after year PRSA SD/IC hears from participants that this is their favorite event of the year because they are able to use their expertise to help raise awareness for the great work happening in the SD/IC communities. We also hear that PRSA professionals enjoy brainstorming with other Chapter members who they don’t work with on a daily basis.

Thank you to ignite sparked by BBB and the BBB 4 Good program for making their space available to PRSA.
