PRSA offers several different membership types and group membership. Members must sign up as a National member and also register as PRSA SD/IC Chapter member to receive Chapter membership benefits (see lists below).

Hardship Program

You may qualify for the Hardship Program if you’ve been a member for three or more years and are unemployed or temporarily disabled. To participate, download the Hardship Plan Application.

Quarterly Payment Program

Current members can pay their National and Professional Interest Section dues in four quarterly payments. Chapter dues may be collected quarterly, depending on availability. To sign up, contact us.

The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is the nation’s largest professional organization serving the communications community with a mission to “make communications professionals smarter, better prepared and more connected through all stages of their career.” Our membership collectively represents more than 30,000 members comprised of communications professionals spanning every industry sector nationwide and college and university students who encompass the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).

Find the right membership level for you to determine the dues you will pay to the national PRSA as well as the local San Diego/Imperial Counties Chapter dues.

Enhance your PRSA experience by also joining our local chapter. Be sure to select San Diego/Imperial Counties (SDIC) when you join PRSA.

The San Diego/Imperial Counties Chapter* dues are a flat amount each year; $60 annually.

PRSA membership options are based on your professional experience. Dues are billed annually at your enrollment anniversary date, unless you enroll in one of the different payment plan options available.

*To join a Chapter, you must have an active PRSA national membership.

Associate Member, PRSSA Graduate Young professional who has graduated within the past two years and who was a PRSSA member while in school $60 annually
Associate Member, Graduate Student Full-time graduate student working toward a public relations or communications degree  $60 annually 
Group Sign up your team of 5 or more members and receive customized membership and special benefits
Former PRSA Member Reinstate your membership $260 annually + $35 reinstatement fee
